Arrival in Baku. Welcome through guide at the airport or driver-guide and transfer to the hotel.

2 day

Baku – port at the Caspian sea

After the breakfast city tour with khan palace, mausoleum, maiden tower, Shah-mosque, cave of Seyid Yahya Bakuvi , Murad-gate , Divanchana, Key-Gubad-Mosque and bathhouse .

New city of Baku: with villas of oil-barons, port, Martyr-Alley, new buildings,

fountain-square. In the afternoon visit the Temple Atashgah (Museum).

Overnight in the hotel.

3 day

Shamakhi, Scheki

Breakfast. Excursion to North-west. Please describe the landscape – green? Mountains with snow? Before arriving Shamaki stop Maraza and visit the Diri-Baba Mausoleum, Juma Mosque, Yeddi Kumbaz Mausoleum. The next stop is in Kabala. Visit the ruins of medieval Kabala and of the fortress and the museum. Arrival in Sheki. Free time walk along the Kis-river.

Sheki, Kish, Lagodekhi (Georgian border)

Sightseeing tour in Sheki with fortress, Khan-Palace, museums and caravanserais. Visit one of the beast Halva Shop. In the and the village Kish with its Museum-church. Transfer to the border.

Border formalities. Meeting with driver and guide in Azerbaijan border. Transfer and hotel accommodation. Overnight in a hotel.

5 day

Tbilisi, Mtskheta

Breakfast in the hotel. Tbilisi sightseeing tour: Walking through the central street Rustaveli Ave and restored Mardzhaneshvili street. Visit to the only active mosque in Tbilisi located in its oldest part, Abanotubani. The mosque was built on the place of Sunnis mosque (of 18th century) at the beginning of the 20th century. A brick building at the bottom of Narikhala is distinguished for its tall minaret. Stylistically, the building is a mixture of Islamic and European architecture. Today, the mosque serves Muslims of Sunnis as well as Shias movement. Further we will explore a new and old architecture of the capital: face of modern Tbilisi - Bridge of Peace. Going up by cable route to fortress "Narikala", where you will see unforgettable city panorama.

Thereafter going up to Mtatsminda mountain and Pantheon (burial place of famous writers, poets, statesmen of Georgia and the world).

Departure to "Mtskheta" - the first capital of Georgia, the soul of this amazing country. Here you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with: Cathedral "Mtskheta» (XI c). Going up to the monastery Jvari (V c), enjoying panoramic views of the ancient capital. In Mtskheta we will visit wine cellar of national peasant family, testing Georgian wine and chacha + lessons of cooking Georgian cuisine.

Arrival back to Tbilisi. Overnight in the hotel.

6 day

Kakheti

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Kakheti.

"Tsinandali" - founded in the XIX century. Famous Georgian poet, Prince Alexander Chavchavadze was living there. You will be amazed with beauty of the Park. We will arrange wine tasting in the wine cellar (5 sorts of wine).

Next stop is Sighnaghi - city of love in the style of southern Italian classicism, which is famous for its castle , included in the list of most famous and largest castles of Georgia (XVIII century).

Visit to Basilica of St. Nino, convent "Bodbe".

Optionally, you can walk down to the miraculous Source of St. Nino (30 minutes by foot).

Arrival to Tbilisi. Overnight in hotel.

7 day

Kazbegi

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Kazbegi, mountainous region of Georgia. It is located at the foot of Mountain Kazbek, near the Terek River, which originates in Georgia.

Our way will take place along Georgian Military Road to the fortress and monastery Ananuri on the bank of Jinvali reservoir. Visit to the most famous ski resort in Georgia - Gudauri, located at an altitude of 2195 m. Tour over Stepatsminda (former Kazbegi), famous for picturesque location in the mountains of the Great Caucasus. Return to Tbilisi. Overnight in a hotel.

8 day

Tbilisi, Sadokhlo Border, Haghpat/Sanahin, Dilijan

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from hotel. Drive to Georgia-Armenia border. Meeting at the Armenian-Georgian border Bagratashen at 3 pm. After border formalities, change the guide and transportation.

Drive to prominent monasteries of UNESCO World Hertage: Haghpat and Sanahin. Sanahin Monastery Complex is founded in the 10th century and along with the nearby Haghpat Monastery (10th century) represents an outstanding and magnificent example of medieval Armenian architecture. Continue tour to the resort town Dilijan. Yu. Kirillova has said: '' If there are woods, mountains and mineral waters in paradise, it will be like in Dilijan''. Overnight in the hotel (Dilijan).

9 day

Dilijan, Sevan, Yerevan

After breakfast at hotel visit of Haghartsin Monastery in Dilijan, one of the religious and educational centers in medieval Armenia (10-13th centuries). Afterwards drive to the "pearl" of Armenia lake Sevan which is the 2nd high-altitude lake in the world with its sweet and astonishingly blue water. Visiting Sevanavank Monastery in Sevan peninsula which became the royal citadel of the Syuniats kings in the 6th century.

On Sevan peninsula the guests will have an opportunity to taste famous Armenian fish "Sig” and "Ishkhan”. Free time at lakeside. Drive to Yerevan.Overnight in the hotel (Yerevan).

10 day

Yerevan, City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel meet your tour guide and start city tour round Yerevan which is located in ARARAT valley lying under the feet of the majestic mount ARARAT on the Noah's route. The ancient and at the same time modern capital of Armenia was founded in 782 BC and is even 29 years older than the eternal city of Rome. First we visit Matenadaran (Armenian for "library", UNESCO World Heritage Site) - a unique repository of ancient manuscripts, which has a high ideal value for Armenia. It's an indescribable feeling to get the strange dusty smell of old manuscripts in the nose and let the fingers slide over admiring ornate leather bindings with silver ornaments.

Afterwards visit of Cafesjian Center for the Arts, enjoying the marvelous collection of glass, painting, and sculpture, print and drawing. Afterwards enjoy the panorama of Cascade Monument. Proceed to Opera House visiting the roundabouts: State Conservatory, the Monument "Men” in the Saryan Park. The nest visiting Tsisernakaberd Memorial Complex dedicated to the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians who perished in the first genocide of the 20thcentury. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel (Yerevan).

11 day

Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Garni temple (1stA.D.) which is the only "witness" of Hellenistic Epoch in the territory of CIS. It's the only standing temple in the territory of Armenia which has been preserved after Armenia adopted Christianity in 301. It's dedicated to the powerful pagan God of sun called Mithra. Continue tour to Gegard Monastery (12-13th centuries). Geghard was initially known as Ayrivank (Cave Monastery). The name refers to the biblical lance with which a Roman soldier pierced Christ's body. Hundreds of Khachkars and caves are built in the rocks surrounding the Monastery. Geghard and the Upper Azat Valley are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Return to Yerevan . Dinner in the Restaurant "Caucasus” in Yerevan. Overnight in the hotel (Yerevan).

12 day

Check Out from hotel. Visit of "Vernissage" - a large open-air market of only handmade traditional gifts: art, jewelry, books, carpets etc. You can take a sunny piece of Armenia back home.
